The Holiday

1. What is the board basis?

This is on an all inclusive rate.

2. What is included in the holiday?

The holiday includes flights, transfer to and from the airport in Tunisia (Tunis or Enfida) and 7 nights all inclusive at the hotel.

3. How big will the group be?

The group will be no bigger than 17 families

4. Which airports fly out to this holiday?

There are 2 main airports in Tunisia and between them they are served by many of the airports in the UK. The holiday price is based on flights from London. We do have group flights for this holiday – these fly out London Heathrow. Please contact us for further information on costs for any of the regional airports. These include – Birmingham, Bristol, and Manchester.

5. When will I receive my tickets?

You will receive your tickets and all other documents between 7 – 10 days before you depart. This will be sent out via email. There will also be an email with further information – who is on your holiday etc around the same time.

6. What is my baggage allowance?

The baggage allowance will be on your tickets. Each airline is different.

7. Does the coordinator meet us at the airport?

With people coming in at different times, the coordinator will meet you in resort.

8. Transfers – what happens when I get to the airport?

The shuttle transfers are available 24 hours a day regardless of flight arrival time. Where possible the holidaymakers on the group flights will be transferred together. Private transfers are available for this holiday at a supplement. All of the details on the transfer will be on your vouchers that are issued with your tickets via email 7 – 10 days before departure – this will also include instructions on how to find your transfer. The hotel from Tunis airport is approximately 44 miles. From Enfida airport it is approximately 63 miles.

9. There is another persons name on my transfer voucher?

This means that that family are on the same transfer as you.

10 Can I add extras on to my flight?

Yes you can. Please contact us for prices. Please note that any requests for extras need to be submitted BEFORE the final balance is paid (12 weeks before your holiday)

The Hotel

1.How big is the hotel?

The hotel consists of 256 rooms.

2. What types of rooms are there?

The room that we have are double garden view rooms. There is a possibility that you can upgrade to a sea view room – please contact us to see if there is availability. This hotel does have interconnecting room – if you need a room for 4 people or more then please contact us as we need to make sure that the hotel has availability for this.

3. What facilities do the room have?

All rooms have air conditioning, satellite TV, Hair-dryer on request, Safe (small charge) and a terrace

4. What is included in the all inclusive rate?

All of your meals are included in the all inclusive rate; Buffet-style breakfast, lunch, and dinner with traditional Tunisian cuisine and international fare are included. From 2:30 to 6:00 p.m. guests can try salads, sandwiches, mini-pizzas, hamburgers, crepes, fruit, desserts, and ice creams. A late-night buffet is served from 11:00 p.m. to midnight offering salads, paté, fruits, desserts, coffee, milk, and tea The drinks that are included are; the best national alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in the main restaurant, in the Lobby Bar from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m., and at the Pool Bar from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

5. What facilities are there at the hotel?

There is an outdoor swimming pool and indoor heated swimming pool, health spa with a tempting range of massages and treatments, fitness room, Hamman, sauna, water aerobics, football, Boules, Darts, tennis, table tennis, water polo and dancing lessons from the entertainment team!! On the beach they offer water-skiing, windsurfing or beach volleyball, pedalo hire, and more (please note that additional charges may apply) Entertainment at the hotel includes orchestral tunes from the house band along with traditional folklore shows, live music and cabaret. There is also a Children’s supervised Mini Club for children aged 4 to 12 There is free WiFi in the lobby and you can get it in your room for an additional charge.

6. What is there for the Kids?

The kids club is ran by the hotels and is for children aged 4 – 12 and runs from 10am – 12 noon then 3pm – 5pm. There is also a kids pool and loads of activities that are close by.

7. What is the beach like and is it near?

The hotel is on Hammamet beach. The beach has lovely golden sand!!

8. My flight isn’t till the evening, what are my options?

We can contact the hotel to get a price for a late check-out. This all differs on if the room is available for the next day. There is luggage holding facilities.

The Resort

1. What excursions are there and how much will they cost?

More detailed information on this will be coming soon – this is so that we can give you a better idea of the costs.

2. What is the currency there?

Tunisian Dinar (TD) is the currency. It is not available outside of the country and is illegal to import and export. They are not accepted in the shops in Tunis Airport after you have been through customs. The currency rate is approximately 1 GBP = 2.6 TND There are currency exchange facilities at the hote, you will also find some exchange offices within close proximity to the hotel. There are also many ATMs that you can withdraw money from. Travellers cheques aren’t widely accepted in Tunisia. There is an ATM with in walking distance.

3. How much money should I take out with me?

All of your food and drink (as stated above in the all-inclusive rates) in the hotel complex is included – you will need money for any of the excursions that you would like to do and any gifts that you wish to buy.

4. What plug adaptor should I take out with me?

Tunisia use the same 2 pin plug that you would find through out Europe.

5. What is the time difference?

The local time in Tunisia is GMT + 1

6. What languages are spoken there?

The main language is Arabic. French is also spoken.
