Turkey Holiday Village

Turkish Water Park Holiday

We’ll be holidaying in a lovely 5 star beach front hotel with its very own water park – with a variety of pools, slides and attractions as well as a kids’ club. And if the kids get bored of the slides, there’s floodlit tennis, water sports, a playground and funfair too!

Where we’re staying

Our hotel is to be found right beside its own beach,  almost equi-distant between the lovely resorts of Side and Manavgat on the south west coast of Turkey.

Side, a short journey by dolmus, offers a glimpse of both new and ancient Turkey. For history lovers, the 5th century baths are unmissable and there are any number of other ancient sights near to the town, including a theatre which once held 17,000 people, and a number of  temples with their magnificent towering columns.

An old fishing port, Side’s streets run down to the harbour, a great place to stop and watch the world go by, in between the array of shops, restaurants and sightseeing opportunities.

The town of Manavgat dates back  to 200 BC, Manavgat.  Framed by the forests of the Taurus Mountains, the area is split in two by the river that shares its name. The famous, the local waterfalls are a top photo opportunity and a great place to cool down with a paddle. And when it comes to living like the locals, check out Manavgat’s weekly market selling everything from leather goods to fruit and veg. In the evenings, you’ll find a low-key vibe with traditional restaurants and cosy cafés.

Things to do

If the children can tear themselves away from the holiday village, the towns of both Side and Manavgat are worth a visit. Want a break from the beach? Visit the lovely Manavgat Waterfalls or visit traditonal Turkish baths for the ultimate in relaxation.

The holiday will be accompanied by a Single With Kids Holiday Host who will arrange events each day. These are by no means obligatory, but a good way of getting to know others in the group and making this a holiday to remember.

This is a 7 night break commencing for which we are offering two holiday dates, Monday 27th July 2015 and Wednesday 5th August 2015.

Should you wish to extend this break at all, please do email us at events@singlewithkids.co.uk

Single With Kids

Nick and Katie - (Turkey)

" Best holiday ever been on. "

Janet and Michael - (Turkey)

" As a first timer very nervous, but great group and co-ordinator meant I relaxed very quickly and my 10 yr old and I loved every minute....
Amazing resort, couldn't believe how clean it remained inspite of being so huge...
I hadn't expected any of the organized activities having never been on a group holiday before, however each event ticked off numerous items from my bucket list !! "

Georgina and Victoria - (Turkey)

" The holiday was a great experience for us both and i think it was helped because we all got a warm welcome and made to feel relaxed even before we got to the hotel. I loved being with others who were also single and were of similar minds, it was certainly an eye opener for victoria-her words were 'i didnt realise there were so many single people'. i think the holiday was made fun because everyone was willing to join in and experience new things like the water sports.....
everything about the holiday was great, the children felt safe, as did the adults, you could do as much or as little as you wanted and it was ok. it was still your holiday even thought you were there with others, plus you got to make good friends. "

Candia and Family - (Turkey )

" It was a great holiday and we do like Turkey a lot. The group size was great and the ages
perfect. Sarah was an excellent coordinator and tended to everybody's needs however
small and went to a lot of trouble with the events, such as the beach party etc. It was a
'fun' holiday and I met some really great parents, and children. The highlights of the
holiday? On the last night of the holiday, we had a group meal in Side which was
brilliant ; 2. The roman ruins were superb. My son Andy, was thrilled to see them, + the
remains of the temple at the seafront. Incredible location at Side. The coordinator made
things very easy and introduced me to the group and it does feel comfortable being in a
group of like-minded people when abroad. "

Philip and Cameron - (Turkey)

" Loved the waterslides - the main draw for my son and I. "

Sarah and Children - (Turkey)

" Travelling as a single parent with 3 children can be exhausting. It was so much easier
and enjoyable being part of a group. The children made new friends and didn't argue as
much as a result. I made new friends to and as a group we intend to stay in touch.
There was so much to do to entertain older children and it was easy to relax as the hotel
complex felt very safe. The food was excellent and changed regularly. It is worth
booking one of the restaurants as it was pleasant to be served.
Sarah our coordinator worked very hard to make sure the holiday ran smoothly and to
unite everyone. A big thank you to her, she did a great job.
The highlights? Me: Great holiday, good company, enjoyed being away with other
adults. Johnny 12: Best Holiday he has ever had. Loved it. Sonny 13: Great time,
didn't want to leave. Florence 10: Loved it, would like the same but not as hot. "
