Single Parent Holidays Abroad from Single With Kids

To ensure the enjoyment of your SingleWithKids Overseas holiday, we urge you to read the following holiday booking conditions and important information before reserving places on your single parent holiday abroad with us:

Holiday Booking Process Summary

Your contract with SingleWithKids Overseas (trading as Social Fusion Ltd) is made once the following steps have been made. A) You have paid the required deposit together with the correct insurance premium (if required). B) SingleWithKids Overseas has sent your receipt to you. Your contract commences on the date of issue of your receipt. It is important you check your receipt carefully and raise any queries immediately. Your contract with SingleWithKids Overseas is governed under English law, will be concluded in English, and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. SingleWithKids Overseas reserves the right to cancel, or to refuse to accept any booking at any time.


Our flight inclusive package holidays are hosted by our own coordinators and are bound by ATOL: We are members of ABTA (ABTA No. L7534) and we hold an ATOL License (6042) and operate as a member of Freedom Travel Group which is part of the Co-operative Travel Group Limited. We provide holiday services where we act as your Tour Operator. This will be made clear to you before booking. When we act as Tour Operator your holiday will be booked using our ATOL license and your Tour Operator will be Freedom Travel Group, trading as Single With Kids Overseas. When we act as your agent, your contract will be with the Tour Operator, and their financial protection (if any) applies, the Tour Operator terms will be applicable and these will be provided prior to booking. Either way, all air inclusive packages are protected by the ATOL scheme of either our business or the Tour Operators.

Holiday Deposit Payment

A 25% deposit is required to confirm your booking. Overseas deposits are non-refundable or transferable.

Holiday Balance Payment

We will inform you via email to request the final balance and will provide a payment link for your convenience. Payment may be made by cash, debit card or credit card. Balances must be paid promptly – we do not offer credit terms. Overseas Holidays: The final balance will be required 14 weeks prior to the date of the holiday. If you book less than 14 weeks prior to the event, payment in full must be made when you book. Late Payments: If your balance is not paid in a reasonable time of our request, before the commencement of your holiday, we will treat this as a cancellation and the treatment of this will be governed by our Refund Policy. If at our discretion, and depending on the nature of the holiday, we may be able to agree to late payment, but there will be a Administration Fee of £15 per person to cover our handling costs. The company will issue a final demand for payment, and if this also goes unpaid, late payment compensation will be sought at 40 pounds if the amount owed is less than 1000 pounds, and 70 pounds if the amount owed is over 1000 pounds. We reserve the right to charge interest on any outstanding balances.

Flight Payment

Payment for flights for you single parent holidays abroad is non-changeable and non-refundable.

Credit Card Charges

If you pay by debit card, there will be NO surcharge or any other fees associated with the use of this type of card. A Visa or MasterCard incurs a 2.5% surcharge and an Amex card will incur a 3% surcharge. This is common practice in the travel industry, as it covers the handling charges and merchant fees paid by us on your behalf.

If You Alter Your Confirmed Holiday Booking

If you wish to alter or transfer your booking to another date or holiday after we have issued your receipt, we will do our best to arrange this. You must write to us with details of the alteration requested – there will be an Administration Charge of £15 per person to reschedule your booking. Note: Changes made 60 days, or less, before an event, are not permitted.

Not Included in Your Holiday Price

* Holiday Insurance * Medical expenses * Personal expenses * Excursions are not included in the price unless otherwise stipulated in the holiday information and / or booking form * Independent travel expenses (other than those that may be pre-specified on certain excursions)

If We Change Your Booking

Whilst everything will be done to provide the holidays shown on the website, SingleWithKids Overseas may occasionally have to change your holiday arrangements, or part of them. Most alterations are minor and should not affect the overall enjoyment of your holiday. If we have to make significant alterations to your holiday arrangements we will notify you as quickly as possible. You may then A) accept the change, B) Take an alternative holiday subject to availability, with a cost adjustment depending on whether the alternative holiday is of a higher or lower price, C) Withdraw from the booking completely, in which case SingleWithKids Overseas will make a full refund of all monies paid by you. Significant changes include, but are not limited to, the following: A change to an organised excursion or a change to the location of your accommodation. Because our holidays are planned many months in advance, we occasionally (although seldom) need to make changes. We reserve the right to do this and will in all cases strive to ensure a better package is offered. You may either accept the new arrangements offered by us or accept a replacement holiday from us of equivalent or closely similar standard and price if one is available. Should you choose this option the terms and conditions of your holiday will not change and these conditions will still apply to your booking. Should the changes be of a lower standard to your original booking, a full refund can be made should you wish to cancel the booking.

Special Requests

Should you have a special request that does not form part of the arrangements described on the website, please inform us in writing. We will do our best to comply but we cannot guarantee to do so and it will not form part of our contracted obligations. Requests for special meals (vegetarian, gluten free, nut free etc) must be made at the time of booking (please be aware that any such requests cannot always be guaranteed). Any such request made at a later time cannot be guaranteed although we will make every effort to comply with your requests.

Minimum Numbers

Each of our holidays is based on a minimum number and we reserve the right to cancel a trip if such numbers are not reached. You will then have the choice of booking an alternative holiday with us, changing your departure date, or receive a full refund; no additional compensation will be paid.

SingleWithKids Overseas Responsibility to You

Notwithstanding the conditional refunds stated above, SingleWithKids Overseas accepts no liability for any loss or damage to any of your material possessions. Neither does SingleWithKids Overseas accept responsibility for any injuries to you or your children. If you wish to cover yourself for the aforementioned eventualities, we recommend you take out the relevant form of insurance.

If You Have a Complaint

If you feel you have cause for complaint whilst on holiday, this must be immediately brought to the attention of the SingleWithKids Coordinator and / or resort representative (as appropriate) so that action can be taken to remedy the problem.

Liability for Booking Errors

If we make an error in booking your holiday, we will accept liability and attempt to resolve matters to your full satisfaction. If you provide us with incorrect information when booking your holiday, the liability rests with you, but we will do all we can to rectify mistakes in the booking once we have been notified..

Holiday Description Accuracy

Every care has been taken to ensure that the information contained on our website is accurate and up-to-date. However, mistakes can be made and changes may occur to accommodation or services that are out of our control, so if you have any particular concerns, please check the details of your holiday with us before making your booking. Whilst we endeavour to give an accurate list of events & activities local to our trips, unless these are excursions organised by SingleWithKids Overseas, they fall outside of our control and we cannot guarantee the availability of them. Should SingleWithKids Overseas need to make changes to a pre-arranged and advertised excursion, (due to inclement weather for example) we will endeavour to offer a suitable alternative.

Holiday Insurance

It is imperative that you are adequately insured for any risks, or loss or damage to your possessions. For this reason we offer travel insurance and we highly recommend that this is taken at the point of booking of your single parent holidays abroad. If you do not take our insurance at the point of booking and have changed your mind, please ensure you are adequately insured. Health, Safety and Security

We arrange contracts for accommodation and make other arrangements through suppliers who we have taken reasonable care to ensure have good health and safety reputations, and run safe and efficient businesses. Unfortunately, crime is a fact of life – you need to be vigilant, especially if you are in possession of valuables or large amounts of cash whilst away on holiday with us. If you are going to bring valuables on holiday, we recommend that you make adequate security precautions by renting a safe in your hotel room.

Inappropriate Conduct

Any person considered to be behaving in an antisocial or aggressive manner and/or under the influence drugs may be asked to return home. If in the reasonable opinion of our coordinator, a landlord, the police, or other person in authority, your behaviour is causing danger, damage or affecting the enjoyment of others, we reserve the right to terminate your holiday. SingleWithKids Overseas can take no responsibility for any additional expenses incurred or loss of holiday by individuals in any such circumstances. The company cannot accept any responsibility for the actions of other people outside its control. SingleWithKids Overseas reserves the right to claim from any person who causes damage to their accommodation, including harm or breakage of fixtures, fittings and furnishings, including, but not limited to electrical equipment within the supplied accommodation. Customers are required to leave accommodation in the manner they found it – claims from SingleWithKids Overseas will therefore be pursued to make good this standard.

Price Quotations and Early Booking Discounts

Prices for regional airports or extended breaks are quoted based on flight and room prices at the time of quotation and are valid for bookings within the timescale stated, or if no time limit is stated, for 7 (SEVEN days. Should you wish to book outside this timespan, the quote will be recalculated. All information required for the booking must be supplied within 48 hours of request, otherwise the booking may be subject to flight increases outside of our control. We occasionally increase the price of our holidays, to reflect increased flight costs. Should we not receive the name and date of birth information from you, so that we can complete your booking, the online flight price at the time of submitting your information will apply. Early booking discounts are offered on the basis that the booking is made and complete within 7 (SEVEN) days of the end of the early booking term discount. Should we not be able to complete the booking in the specified time period because you have not furnished us with the requested information, the discount will no longer apply and the booking will revert to the current online price.
